In simplest terms, my group can act as a networking liason between different research groups that seek to perform effective clinical research. While many other groups focus on a single domain topic, we facilitate 'speaking' to many domains sometimes relying on technology to bridge seamlessly between application needs. Strong collaborations between applied investigators, clinicians, and allied health practitioners are used to create novel but yet practical technologies to solve social and health related issues.

* We focus on "Clinical Translation," which applies practical implementations that seek to improve medicine and society by novel technology use. Collaboration is the cornerstone of our practice strategy and we are open to being involved in any domain where we can be helpful. Our "human-focused research'' aims to translate technology into clinical practice. Additionally our section draws strength by integrating 'experts' with our team across many diverse departments drawn from various universities in the area.
